With Bluebird, I aimed to capture the sky’s vast, textured beauty and sense of movement. Through layered brushstrokes, I sought to evoke a calm, expansive energy, creating a piece that feels both dynamic and grounding. My hope is that Bluebird brings a soothing, natural rhythm to any space.

Sharmain is a Melbourne-based artist who transitioned from a 20-year non-creative career to painting full-time in 2016. Inspired by colour, textiles, and interior design, they use acrylics to create layered, textured works that invite viewers to discover hidden details. Growing up in Victoria's Yarra Valley, Sharmain now works daily in her home studio, driven by a lifelong passion for creativity.
