Artist's Description

One of my favourite colour palettes in a painting is monochrome. As much as I love working with vibrant colour palettes, I also really enjoy utilising the many tones and shades of a single pigment.

Since the culling of the trees outside my studio window except for the lonely gum tree, it is hard to imagine painting any other subject at the moment - but I'm reveling working in the beautiful rich and vibrant colours of Australia
