Bayou captures the gentle shifts of the environment that inspire me throughout the seasons. As I painted, I envisioned the slow movement of a creek—dark green pools of water gathering while tangled reeds rise to the surface. This piece is my abstracted impression of a tranquil moment, a reflection of a time and place that invites you to pause and connect with nature.
