Patricia moved to the beautiful Sunshine Coast 6 years ago, having grown up on the northern beaches of Sydney and then spending many years in Canberra. Patricia recounts, "In my teens, I was privileged to learn oil painting from a post impressionist master, and with the influence of many other wonderful tutors and tertiary study, I have expanded to other media, and have continuously evolved in my approach to painting."

She won numerous awards (her first First Prize at age 12) and has exhibited in Canberra, Sydney and now the Sunshine Coast. She is a former President and Vice President of the Artists Society of Canberra (ASOC). She holds membership in numerous Art Associations and Creative Arts groups across South East Queensland, with artwork available in numerous galleries and online.

"My heart belongs with abstract painting, (and abstract landscapes) and my skills in this direction are improving. I also like painting quirky imaginary people, still lifes and flowers.
I want people to find something joyful or inspiring when they look at my paintings. I hope people can find a story of their own in my paintings."
