Rhianon Vichta-Ohlsen

Rhianon’s artistic journey began with ceramic windchimes at 16 and evolved through a career in psychology and art therapy. After over a decade in therapeutic roles and program development, she embraced her "Year of Clay" at 50, focusing on her personal joy through ceramics. Influenced by Buddhist and Japanese principles, Rhianon’s handcrafted pieces celebrate mindfulness and beauty.

Winner of the 2022 Small Wonders Exhibition, Rhianon’s will also be featured in upcoming exhibitions, including “The Colour of Joy” in April 2025.

Process

"It turns out that making things that make me happy also makes other people happy when they hold them and use them in their homes."
Rhianon's ceramic art pieces are expressions of what she has learned though life, the principles and experiences that bring lasting happiness (Sukha). They are intended to spark moments of mindfulness and bring beauty and happiness to hearts and homes.
